| Hello,
I was speaking to someone recently that said their Treadmaster 'runs' when wet, they said the colour leaks from the sheets and onto their white decking leaving streaks of colour everywhere and colour on their shoes when they walk on the decks...I have had Treadmaster before and never found it to run colour - have they bought a similar product - they daid it looks the same as the diamond pattern decking???

| Hi Missy, Yes we are quite aware of a look alike product that runs colour - please check where your friends purchased this material and we will let you know if it is the fake we suspact it to be! Treadmaster I can confidentally confirm, does not run colour. The pigments are added during manufacture and are bonded into the rubber/cork mix before being cured to make it hard and colour fast. I am sorry your friends have bought a poor quality copy, I would be interested to know where from so we can bring this to the attention of other customers that may be thinking of purchasing it or have purchased it believing it to be authentic Diamond Pattern Treadmaster and had the same problem.
Thank you for your enquiry

| Thank you for your prompt reply!
I asked them and they got it at Southampton Boat show a year ago from a company called Technics or something like that...they are really annoyed that they were sold a fake as they were told it was genuine Treadmaster...but it seems its not, they did also say they had used Treadmaster years ago and never found the colour to run, so were surprised when this one did! Have you heard of this company?

| Yes we are familiar with other companies. This is Treadmaster's first year at the Southampton Boat Show so we know it certainly wasn't bought from one of our representatives, I'm again sorry that your friends have had so much trouble with this material, I would advise contacting the company to see what they can do, but I'm afraid unless they want to take every sheet off and start again there's probably not much that can be done! Feel free to contact our Technical team who might be able to give you further advice on this.
